We are on the concluding of Year – 2015. The year had been highly vibrant and volatile. We wish that the forthcoming Year – 2016 will be cohesive.
In the third issue of Newsletter, we are covering the activities carried out during Oct 01 – Nov 30, 2015.
Broad summary is as follows:
Sub-Committees:
· As per the decision of last AGM, Charters for Sub-committees on Cleaning and Garbage (CGS), Road Repair (RRS), Security (SS) and Common Properties (CPS) were circulated and Nominations were invited
· MC deliberated on encouraging response from members and constituted Sub-committees in October 2015
Laying of HT/ LT electric cables underground:
· Laying of HT/ LT electric cables underground completed by October 31, 2015.
· Members of Managing Committee met the local MLA and conveyed special thanks for his support.
· MSEDCL has communicated the removal and collection of all old poles including where currently street lights are installed. MC is pursuing the MSEDCL to retain the poles.
· Simultaneously, MC has initiated call for quotation for poles for placing street lights.
Piped Gas (MNGL):
· An Interactive Session was arranged with officials from MNGL to brief on MNGL, its mandate and proposal to Ramnagar Colony. MNGL addressed the concerns raised by the members (50+ members participated).
· A group of senior members met Joint Charity Commissioner along with a petition signed by 96 members from the Colony and conveyed the intent of majority of members to opt for Piped Gas to their kitchens.
· MNGL continued to interact individually with members of Colony to fill the registration forms and collect NOC from individual Societies located within Ramnagar Colony.
Cleanliness and Beautification of RCM:
· Flower plants were cultivated at select empty common places to prevent people to through garbage.
· Plastic waste along roads was removed at regular intervals on Hill side and River side
· PMC was arranged to fog many societies in RCM to control mosquito breeding
· PMC provided a truck three times to clear the garden waste
Club house:
· On request from AMS Associates (without formal communication with RCM), MC received notice from Land Office for measurement of the Plot 2abc to which RCM took objection
· MC submitted a formal letter to the concerned office at Paud on above.
Miscellaneous:
· MC briefed the Advocate regarding complaint filed by Mr. Anil Revankar with Charity Commissioner and participated in the hearing related to the same
· A meeting was arranged with the Contractor to discuss sinking of wall adjoining Brookside society
· MC met Local MLA and formerly requested for his support to repair the Colony roads
· A Security Cabin was installed on Hill-side
