This is an explanation update to attend to members’ concerns and queries even though most of these have already been covered in our earlier communications.
- Tata Sky network is ‘Fiber to home’ type. No active electronic devices will be installed anywhere in the colony except the subscriber’s home. Building tops will have only passive fiber splitters. This reduces servicing issues and the need to visit the building top significantly.
- No power connections will be required from any common outlets of the buildings. Active network device will be placed in the subscribers home only.
- Tata Sky will lay a ring network covering the whole colony. Major high points will serve as loop hubs. One loop cable ( In and Out) and up to 2 branch cables may be put on the building top depending upon building location and height of surrounding buildings.
- Ring network will cover both (Riverside and Hillside) sides of the colony.
- At most two road crosses will be made by the cable at the building top level. This is the minimum required.
- Ring network will be one time activity and any building not permitting access will be excluded from the network.
Hub points identified are as below ( subject to some variation) :
Aquila Lifestyle/Classic, Nauka, Elite Embassy, Elite Galaxy, Runwal Savera, Royal Avenue, Aquila Lakeview, Montvert/Brookside, Vishal Complex, Seraph10, Serenity, Nyati Hermitage, Nyati Abode, Shagun Nisrag, Shree Vihar/Marvel Memories/Aseem, Runwal Platinum/Solitaire
Any delay in granting access will delay service start for all in the colony.
